A walking tour through the vast ruins of the first ancient capital of Sri Lanka, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The route links the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi tree, the towering Ruwanwelisaya stupa and the monastic city of Abhayagiri. Broad avenues under shade trees connect two thousand years of Buddhist heritage.
