Mount Nemrut

A short climb to the summit of Mount Nemrut, where a first century king built his own tomb ringed by giant stone heads of gods. The path circles the cone to the east and west terraces with their toppled statues staring out over the mountains. Best at sunrise or sunset, when the heads glow gold.
