A steep 5.3 km climb from the Perseverance Trail in Juneau on the Mount Juneau Trail to the summit of Mount Juneau (1,090 m), with about 980 m of climbing and views over Juneau and Gastineau Channel. The upper trail crosses steep slopes that can hold snow and avalanche danger into summer. This is bear country, so carry bear spray.
