Kinder Scout is the highest point in the Peak District and the scene of the famous 1932 mass trespass. The route from Edale climbs Grindsbrook or Jacob's Ladder onto the wild peat plateau near Kinder Downfall. Bleak, atmospheric moorland with far-reaching views.
