Great Gable

One of the best-loved Lakeland fells, Great Gable rises as a pyramid at the head of Wasdale and Borrowdale. The ascent from Honister or Seathwaite climbs steadily to the boulder-strewn summit with its war memorial plaque. Magnificent views over the western fells and down Wast Water.
