Trail Description
A short but demanding high-altitude hike to the summit of the former Chacaltaya glacier, at over five thousand meters. From the old ski refuge, the trail climbs along the ridge to a viewpoint with views of Huayna Potosi and Lake Titicaca. The lack of oxygen makes every step count.
