Trail Description

A walk to Bobovac, the ruined royal fortress hidden in the wooded hills near Vares that was the chief seat of the medieval Bosnian kings. A forest path leads to the walls, the royal chapel and the tombs on the crag. A quiet and evocative place at the heart of the old kingdom.
