Trail Description
The eagle nest of Bulgarian monasteries, clinging to a crag high above the Vit valley. The trail climbs from Glozhene village through hornbeam forest to the fortified cloister where the revolutionary Vasil Levski once hid. The view drops sheer to the Teteven Balkan foothills.
