Trail description
A 1 km walk through the streets of Papudo, from Avenida Irarrázaval to Playa Chica, on the central coast of the Valparaíso Region. Papudo is a seaside resort 175 km from Santiago and 90 km north of Valparaíso, and new building along its coast has made it a summer destination for well-off Santiago residents. In May 1536 the Spaniard Alonso Quintero landed on Papudo beach, then home to Chango people led by the cacique Carande.
