Trail Description

A high trek in the glaciated Sierra Nevada del Cocuy to a lake ringed by snow peaks. The trail crosses paramo and rock at extreme altitude to a viewpoint beneath some of the last glaciers in Colombia. Cold and demanding, in one of the country's most spectacular ranges.
