Trail Description

Abu Qir is a fishing town on the bay east of Alexandria, famous for its seafood and its history as the site of the Battle of the Nile. This flat coastal walk follows the shore of the wide Mediterranean bay. Sunken ancient cities lie in the waters offshore.
