Saqqara holds the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest large stone structure in the world, at the heart of the ancient necropolis of Memphis. This easy walk explores the pyramid complex and its restored funerary enclosure. The surrounding desert is dotted with tombs and mastabas spanning thousands of years.
