Trail Description

A walk from the village of Mavrommati through the vast ruins of ancient Messene, one of the best preserved classical cities in Greece. The path passes the great theatre, stadium and mighty circuit walls below Mount Ithomi. Springs and olive groves surround the archaeological site.
