Cuha-völgy

Trail description

A 5.5 km walk with 150 m of climb through the Cuha valley in the Bakony, from Vinye station to Porva-Csesznek station. The path follows the Cuha stream through its gorge between steep rock walls, past the Cuha-szirt cliff and the Cuha-völgyi rókalyuk cave, beside the Győr-Veszprém railway, opened in 1896, whose mountain section is studded with tunnels and viaducts. The Cuha valley is a popular excursion spot, and climbers also use its rock walls.
