Trail Description
A walk through Alqosh, an old Assyrian Christian town at the foot of a mountain on the northern edge of the Nineveh plains. Stone lanes lead past churches and the shrine of the prophet Nahum toward the cliffs above. A place of deep roots for the Chaldean people.
