Trail Description
A walk to the Great Mosque of Kufa on the Euphrates near Najaf, one of the earliest mosques in Islam and a seat of the caliph Ali. Its vast courtyard holds shrines and the spot where Ali was struck down. A place of profound significance in early Islamic history.
