Trail Description
A climb to Rabban Hormizd, an ancient monastery carved into the mountainside above the Christian town of Alqosh. The path winds up to cells and chapels cut from the rock where monks have prayed for well over a thousand years. Sweeping views over the Nineveh plains reward the ascent.
