Trail Description

A gorge walk in Akita following an intensely blue-green river between steep wooded cliffs. The riverside path crosses a striking red suspension bridge and leads to the Mikaeri waterfall. It is one of the most scenic gorge trails in Tohoku, glorious in autumn colour.
