Trail Description
A long day hike through the ancient rainforest of Yakushima to the Jomon Sugi, a giant cedar thought to be thousands of years old. Much of the route follows an old logging railway before climbing into mossy, dripping forest. It is a big out and back, and rain is almost guaranteed on this famously wet island.
