Trail Description
A walk along a preserved section of the old Nakasendo highway between two beautifully restored post towns in the Kiso Valley. The path climbs over the Magome pass through forest and terraced fields, passing waterfalls and old stone paving. It is gentle, well signed and steeped in Edo period history.
