The wildest and most scenic route up Hallasan, climbing from the Gwaneumsa side to the crater lake of Baengnokdam. The trail crosses deep valleys and ridges with dramatic views of the volcano's rocky spires. A long, demanding day rewarded by the summit of the highest mountain in South Korea.
