Trail Description
A walk around the Ninth Fort on the edge of Kaunas, a tsarist fortress that became a place of terrible wartime memory. Paths lead past the old ramparts and tunnels to the towering memorial sculpture on the hill above. A sombre, moving walk through history and remembrance.
