Jack Boy Trail

Trail description

The trail begins just above the Jack Boy Hill Visitor Centre and climbs steeply up the hill, with views toward the Tar River Valley in the southeast. The Jack Boy Hill viewing area looks out over the volcano, the buried town of Trants, the remains of the old airport and the Atlantic. Most hikers retrace their steps from the summit, and strong walkers can continue to Katy Hill with a guide.
