Grefsenkollen

Trail description

Climb from Kjelsås up the forest paths of Lillomarka to the top of Grefsenkollen (379 m), one of Oslo's classic viewpoints over the city and the fjord. The restaurant on the summit dates from 1927. The hill is a year-round outdoor area for walking, cycling, skiing, climbing and paragliding. In 1912 the landowner sold the land to the municipalities on condition that it stay undeveloped as a public park.
