Trail Description
A climb on old footpaths from the historic town of Sintra up through cool green forest to two of its famous landmarks. The route passes the ramparts of the Moorish Castle before reaching the colourful Pena Palace on the highest ridge. Shady and steep in places, with fine views over the town and out to the Atlantic.
