Trail Description

The fourth highest peak in Romania at 2519 m, reached by a superb open ridge walk from the Urdele pass on the Transalpina road. The route rolls over grassy 2000 m crests past glacial hollows. Views run from Retezat to the Fagaras on a clear day.
