Trail Description
This walk follows the wooded eastern shore of Coniston Water beneath the fells that inspired Swallows and Amazons and Ruskin at Brantwood. The path passes quiet bays and viewpoints over the lake to the Old Man. A gentle and literary Lakeland shore walk.
