Trail description

From the road end at Langleeford in the Harthope Valley the path climbs over Scald Hill and up the long north-east ridge to The Cheviot (815 m), the highest hill in Northumberland, where a flagstone path crosses the peat to the trig point. The broad summit plateau is boggy and featureless.
