Trail Description

A demanding but spectacular hike near Telluride to a vivid alpine lake below Blue Lake Pass. The trail climbs through wildflower meadows and steep switchbacks into a rugged basin. The intensely blue lake ringed by fourteen thousand foot peaks is a stunning reward.
