Trail description

A 9.9 km loop from Hog Camp Gap on the Appalachian Trail over the summit viewpoint of Cole Mountain (3,920 ft / 1,190 m), returning on the Old Hotel Trail and a short stretch of Wiggins Spring Road. The mountain lies in the Mount Pleasant National Scenic Area of the George Washington National Forest, north of Lynchburg.
