Volcan Xitle

Descripción del sendero

A forest walk to the Xitle, the small volcano on the flank of the Ajusco whose eruption buried the ancient city of Cuicuilco. The sendero climbs through pine woods and old lava fields on the southern rim of Mexico City. Views open across the whole valley from the cinder cone.
