Murphy Point

An out and back walk on the Island in the Sky mesa in Canyonlands National Park to Murphy Point at the edge of the cliffs. The level path crosses grassland and slickrock to a wide view over the White Rim, the Green River and the canyons below. There is little shade and no water on the way, so carry plenty and avoid summer midday heat.
