Kapuyt Loop Trail

Trail Description

A hard 14 km loop from the village of Kapuyt in Vayots Dzor that climbs a canyon on paths said to be part of the old Silk Road, possibly built in the 12th century. A side trip leads to medieval khachkars carved into a stone wall and a natural stone arch. The trail is very steep in places and has natural springs. Allow 5 to 6 hours.
