Trail Description

The highest point in southern Brazil, Pico Parana is located in the Serra do Mar in Paraná at 1,877 meters. The trail climbs through Atlantic Forest and high-altitude grasslands, with sections of scrambling and chains near the end. It is a demanding traverse that usually includes an overnight stay in a mountain shelter.
