Trail description

A steep, popular climb that starts on Highway 66 just past Elbow Falls and goes up through forest to treeline, then along the ridge to the summit with views over the prairies to Calgary. 10Adventures lists 6.9 km return with about 700 m of gain; outside summer the ascent is often icy and traction devices are needed. A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park.
