Trail description

A 2.5 km walk from Eppenbrunn in the Palatinate Forest, right on the French border, to the Altschlossfelsen, the largest rock formation of the Pfalz: a wall of red sandstone some 1.5 km long and up to 30 m high, cut by cracks and clefts, with traces of a medieval castle and Hallstatt and Roman finds. A viewpoint on the southern rock looks out over the French Wasgau.
