Trail description

A 1.5 km climb from a hikers' car park north of Gosheim to the Lemberg (1,016 m), the highest mountain of the Swabian Alb, crossed by the Swabian Alb Club's north-edge trail and the Donauberglandweg. On the summit the club's 33 m steel lookout tower, with its platform at 30 m, looks out over the trees, as far as the Alps on clear days; walls and ditches of an old fortification can still be made out on the summit plateau.
