Trail Description

A mountain walk on Naxos from the marble village of Apeiranthos to the remote hamlet of Danakos below Mount Zas. The path crosses terraced slopes and springs on the flank of the island's highest peak. Danakos keeps an old watermill and the monastery of Fotodotis nearby.
