Chamitis Summit (Vermio) from the Naoussa Refuge

Trail Description

A short summit hike on Mount Vermio from the EOS Naoussa refuge above the 3-5 Pigadia ski resort to Chamitis, the highest peak of the range at about 2,060 m. The refuge can be reached from the ski resort on paths and a dirt road. From the summit, strong walkers can continue along the ridge to the neighbouring peaks Tsanaktsi and Voulgara before dropping back to the ski slopes. The open summit gives views across the plains of Imathia and toward Olympus.
