Trail Description
Pyramida, at about 2,510 m, is the highest peak of Mount Giona and one of the highest in southern Greece. The climb starts at the Grigoris Perdikis refuge in Lakka Karvouni at about 1,750 m, the only refuge on the mountain. From the hut the path passes a spring below Platyvouna, climbs to the saddle above Vathia Lakka and then follows rocky slopes to the ridge and the summit. The best season is April to October.
