Fossvogsdalur Valley Path

Trail description

A 2 km walk up the Fossvogsdalur valley from the Fossvogur shore, on the green border between Reykjavík and Kópavogur, with under 20 m of climbing. The Fossvogur stream runs down the middle of the 2.5 km valley past several ponds, and the valley is known for its birdlife and a small arboretum. Its path links Öskjuhlíð and Nauthólsvík on one side with the Elliðaár valley and Heiðmörk on the other.
