Trail description
A 1.4 km loop with about 40 m of climbing around the rim of Kerið and down to its crater lake, in Grímsnes on the Golden Circle. The elliptical crater, formed by an explosive eruption, is about 55 m deep, 170 m wide and 270 m long. It is the northernmost of four craters along the 800 m Tjarnarhólar fissure.
