Laki

Trail description

A short climb from the parking to the top of Laki, the hill in the middle of the Lakagígar crater row, which tore open in the eruption of 1783 and 1784 and caused famine in Iceland and beyond. The top looks along the line of more than 100 craters; Lakagígar is reached on the F206, which needs a 4x4.
