Trail description

A steep 2.2 km climb of about 600 m to the summit of Mount Iwaki, 1,625 m, the highest mountain in Aomori Prefecture. The stratovolcano is also called Tsugaru Fuji for its shape, and is one of the 100 Famous Japanese Mountains. It lies in the Tsugaru Quasi-National Park.
