Trail description

Walk up from central Cusco past Sacsayhuamán to Q'enqo, one of the sacred shrines (huacas) in the hills above the city. Its name means 'labyrinth' or 'zigzag' in Quechua, after the channels, passages and cave carved into a large limestone outcrop. The Incas used it for rituals to the Sun and the Moon. Entry is with the Cusco tourist ticket (boleto turístico), which also covers Sacsayhuamán, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay.
