Batad to Tappiya Falls

Trail description

From the Batad saddle a path drops to the village of Batad in its amphitheatre of Ifugao rice terraces, part of the UNESCO-listed Rice Terraces of the Philippine Cordilleras, then follows the terrace walls and a long stairway down to the deep pool of Tappiya Falls. The climb back up to the saddle is steep and hot. A local guide is customary and an environmental fee is collected in Batad.
