Trail description
The loop starts at the Trilho do Corno de Bico trail sign at Túmio, in Paredes de Coura, and follows forest tracks and a path through the upper Coura valley back to Túmio. It lies wholly inside the Paisagem Protegida de Corno de Bico, a protected landscape created in 1999, and the Corno do Bico Natura 2000 site. Oak woods dominated by pedunculate oak, planted in the 1940s, cover about a quarter of the protected landscape, whose highest point is the 883 m summit of Corno de Bico; this loop stays below 700 m and does not reach it. The loop is about 2.9 km long, with some 125 m of climbing.
