Trail Description
The most accessible 2500er in the Fagaras, climbed from Balea Lac over the Capra saddle onto the airy northeast ridge. At 2507 m the summit looks straight down the Balea cirque and along the serrated main ridge toward Vanatoarea lui Buteanu. A short but genuinely alpine outing off the Transfagarasan.
