Trail Description

A quieter High Tatras walk from the sanatorium village of Vysne Hagy up to the stark glacial tarn of Batizovske pleso. The trail climbs through forest and dwarf pine onto open moraine below Gerlachovsky stit, the highest peak of the Tatras. Far fewer crowds here than at the neighbouring plesa.
