Trail description

A high mountain traverse along some of the highest ridges of the Sierra de Guadarrama, from the Puerto de Navacerrada over the Bola del Mundo to the Puerto de la Morcuera. The national park lists 18.8 km, about 1,050 m of ascent and 7 hours, with no water sources, and recommends it only for fit walkers who have checked the forecast; snow or ice make it dangerous. Transport is needed at both ends, with no public transport at La Morcuera.
